Thanks for stopping by and please dig our new website! We hope this spot is just one small step to benefit the local community and is a pro-active attempt to get something going for the arts in the Bay Area.

A few things we want to put out there for fans of this website and the Rev.

The Rev is a great place to have your next meeting! We've had local neighbourhood groups come sit at our tables and have a bite or a cup of coffee while they talk about whatever they talk about. Please contact us for availability of space/tables.

We now have a beer and wine license and have made a Happy Hour available at 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday. All pint beers during this time are $3 each.

We feature fresh, organic food and we buy from local producers as often as it becomes available to us. It's important at the Rev that all that food that we serve is at the freshest and of top quality. We want to support our local businesses and want to support this notion of regional agricultural and commercial sustainability at our shop. Please keep this in mind when you order your next bowl of soup or grilled cheese sandwich from us.

We have Wi-Fi access but...the catch for us is that you should buy something at the counter for $5 prior to sitting down and surfing the Internet.

Lastly and most importantly, WE ARE A RECORD STORE and are actively looking to purchase or trade your old vinyls. The Rev has a tremendous collection of near top-quality and top-quality vinyls for sale and want you to benefit from this scene. Most of our collection is geared toward jazz and rock and roll music and the onsite record buyer has years of experience evaluating record quality, record sleeve and cover quality and is able to give you advice about the quality and price of your vinyl. So...if you have stuff you want to sell or are looking to trade for or buy from us -- please stop by anytime and check us out!

In the very near future, we will add an online record store so that fans of collectible vinyls can check out our stock and purchase items. Our aim is to connect with the worldwide community of record collectors and music fans. Support for the record store will go a long way towards this goal and will hopefully keep fans of the Rev in touch with the scene outside of our sunny little town of El Cerrito, CA
